İlk filmden iki yıl sonra gelen Şirinler 2 (The Smurfs 2) 1 Ağustos'ta vizyona girecek. Filmden Britney Spears'ın seslendirdiği şarkı ''Ohh La La''nın olduğu video klip yayınlandı. Yönetmenliğini Raja Gosnell üstlendiği animasyonda Gargamel bu kez Şirinler'e benzer bir tür yaratık yaratıyor. Şirin özünün peşine düşen Gargamel, yalnızca Şirine'nin bildiği büyü nedeniyle onu Paris'e kaçırıyor. Şirinler'de onu kurtarmak için Gargamel'in peşine düşüyor.
